Satisfactory
Satisfactory server planner
Two questions, because the Official Satisfactory Wiki names exactly two conditions under which it says more memory may be recommended. This asks about those two and quotes what the page says. It does not work anything out on top.
Two questions
The hardware figures you will see are community recommendations published on the wiki, not minimums guaranteed by Coffee Stain. Every row says which it is.
The wiki names more than 4 players as one of its two conditions.
The wiki says 16 GB may be recommended for larger saves, but it does not define “larger” by file size. So this is your judgement, not a measurement.
Answer both to see a recommendation.
How this works, and what it will not do
- There are two memory figures on the page and there are two here. If both of your answers point at the higher one, you still get the higher one — no 24 GB or 32 GB step exists on the wiki, so none exists here.
- “May be recommended” stays that way. We will not report the wiki's second figure as a requirement, and neither figure is a Coffee Stain minimum.
- No save-size threshold. The wiki never says what makes a save larger, so answering “not sure” is treated as unknown rather than pushed one way, and we do not substitute a file size, an hour count or a factory size for the definition it left out.
- Your answers do not change the processor or storage rows. Reference hardware does not improve with player count, and save storage is not calculated from how big or old a save is.
The full set of figures, including the documented storage, platform and port facts, is on the server requirements page. Where to run it is a separate question, and self-host or rent covers that — including what the wiki documents about cutting down the upkeep.
